January 21 (Renewables Now) - US commercial solar contractor The Peck Company Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:PECK) has officially changed its name to iSun Inc and, starting today, its common stock will trade under the new ticker symbol “ISUN” on Nasdaq. The company announced this on Wednesday, saying that its planned acquisition of iSun Energy LLC, which is the reason for the name change, is on schedule to close by the end of the month. The acquisition target, iSun Energy, is a provider of solar-powered electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure that offers solar power, electric mobility and smart city solutions for government, commercial, retail, academic and data-centre projects. Among its offerings are the iSun Energy & Mobility Hub, a solar canopy for EV charging, and the iSun Oasis Smart Solar Bench, which enables charging any mobile device.
