BUT here's the really exciting thing: They recently sent old concentrates from the old mine (before it went bankcrupt) to a lab to check for rare earth minerals. What they found is gold, a lot of gold. Lead concentrates held between 95-157g of gold per ton. If you calculate this back to the ore that was needed to make the concentrate you end up with a head grade of 1.7-2.1g/t. The gold wasn't found before due to it's geological appearance. They just recently commenced a gold exploration based on this findings but going into production next year anyway. So also a potential lower mid tier gold producer next year. If gold continues as they found it they'll be producing 50koz next year, if only 10% is true then it's 5koz which already doubles EBITDA to 60mln CAD (currently trading at 18mln). It's my biggest holding now despite not being lithium. Happy to share more details if anyone's interested.

Das habe ich eben über EDM in einem anderen Forum geposted: I usually don't invest in Canadian mining companies but there's another RESTART story that really excites me. EDM Resources: Zinc, Lead and Gypsum. Sounds pretty boring at first glance since we can't expect parabolic runs from base metals. BUT they bought the mine a few years ago, increased resource and worked on mine design to lowere cost. Expected replacement value is 400mln CAD at a market cap of 18mln. Current NAV is 210mln CAD (<0.1 of NAV despite producing next year). Mining is realistically expected in Q2 2027. CEO seems really smart and thoughtful, being a mining engineer himself who has worked bigger projects. So it's a pretty solid project with a 5x potential just to catch up to 0.5 of the NAV. Currently trading at <1 FCFe of 2027. It's a pretty robust project with good economics (lowest quartile of the cost curve). Financing was in place with an offtaker (debt) which expired since one license was missing. After three years of work and studies they just recently submitted the application for the license to the department of fisheries. It's a minor license and the authorities are obliged to make a decision within the next 5 months. They expect to have debt financing with the same offtaker as soon as they obtain this last permit.
