'BofA Securities analyst Michael J. Funk reinstated coverage with a Buy rating on T-Mobile US Inc and separate company notes. The telecom industry is often viewed as homogeneous. Still, Funk noted that AT&T, rated as a Buy with a price target of $32; T-Mobile, rated Neutral with a price target of $255 and Verizon Communications Inc., rated Neutral with a price target of $45, have unique characteristics tied to strategy, M&A, metric prioritization and return on capital.' 'The analyst noted that T-Mobile’s focus on net addition targets, coupled with a premium valuation, leaves less room for positive estimate revisions and multiple expansions.' 'Immigration reform is a drag on wireless but is manageable, said Funk. The analyst estimated the immigration reform risk to be at least 2.1 million potential subscribers.
