Guess who has over $9B in cash and equivalents now?
Greenshoe option fulfilled: initial purchaser (TD Securities) notified them yesterday of their election to throw another $450M at $GME, and the additional notes were issued today.
$4.20B total in convertible bonds are now outstanding.
Net proceeds, approximately
$1.48B + $2.23B + $446.6M = $4.1566B at 0% interest.
Total cash and equivalents at the end of Q1 on May 3 were $6,385.8M
Since then, they have sold the Canadian stores, purchased at least 4,710 Bitcoin, and raised $2,676.6M in net cash from this latest convertible bond.
GameStop now has at least > $10B in total assets on their balance sheet. The market cap closed at $10.42B today
