Report: Europe to enter complete lockdown on Monday
All European countries will enter a complete lockdown on Monday due to the escalating coronavirus pandemic, unnamed government sources informed Breaking the News. The new measure means all schools, restaurants, and shops will be closed, while grocery stores will remain open. A nighttime curfew will also be instated, sources said.
A number of European countries have already introduced partial lockdowns and curfews in an effort to contain the deadly virus.
Europe has recorded over 12 million COVID-19 infections since the start of the pandemic, as well as over 240,000 deaths. The continent's hardest-hit countries are France, Russia, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Italy.
