The company says the acquisition of expands its installed base of commercial flight simulators and customers. CAE says TRU Canada also brings with it a backlog of simulator orders, full-flight simulator assets and provides access to a number of airline customers. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. Textron says the deal is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2020 or early 2021. The agreement follows an announcement earlier this month that CAE has signed a deal to buy Amsterdam-based Flight Simulation Company B.V. for C$108 million.

CAE (NYSE:CAE): Q2 Non-GAAP EPS of $0.13 beats by $0.14; GAAP EPS of -$0.02 beats by $0.01. Revenue of $704.7M (-21.4% Y/Y) beats by $70.1M. Positive free cash flow of $44.9 million vs. negative $92.7 million in the first quarter and negative $7.1 million in the second quarter last year. Order intake of $667.8 million for 0.95x book-to-sales(7) and $8.3 billion backlog.

Ich hab Zeit 😉 CAE ist ne sehr gute Firma, das war ne super Gelegenheit. Da warte ich auch gern 2-3 Jahre, eh sie da sind, wo sie mal waren. Wobei ich schon glaube, dass CAE sich schneller erholen dürfte als andere in dem Bereich. Aber das ist nur ne Mutmaßung und eigentlich auch egal. 😉
