Immunic to Host Virtual Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis R&D Day on September 9, 2026

NEW YORK, September 2, 2026 – Immunic, Inc. (Nasdaq: IMUX), a late-stage biotechnology company pioneering the development of novel oral therapies for neurologic diseases, today announced that it will host a virtual research and development (R&D) day focused on relapsing multiple sclerosis (MS) on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 11:00 am ET.

Management of Immunic, including Erik Lundgren, M.B.A., Chief Executive Officer, Michael A. Panzara, M.D., M.P.H., Chief Medical Officer, Hella Kohlhof, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer, and Jason Tardio, M.B.A., President & Chief Operating Officer, will be joined by two renowned key opinion leaders, Amit Bar-Or, M.D., FRCPC, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania and Stephen Krieger, M.D., FAAN, Icahn School of Medicine, The Mount Sinai Hospital, New York City.

Ahead of the top-line data readout of the Phase 3 ENSURE trials in relapsing MS, expected by the end of 2026, Immunic will discuss its late-stage clinical asset, vidofludimus calcium (IMU-838), an investigational oral small molecule therapy that combines nuclear receptor-related 1 (Nurr1) activation with selective dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH) inhibition to address both neurodegenerative and inflammatory drivers of MS. With the potential to go beyond traditional anti-inflammatory approaches and address persistent unmet needs, the team will share insights into how vidofludimus calcium’s differentiated approach could reshape treatment for patients with relapsing MS.
