• Nano cap Celsion (NASDAQ:CLSN) is up 20% after hours on robust volume, adding to today's 8% move on lighter-than-normal volume. Investors appear to be taking positions ahead a November 27 presentation of results from a Phase 1 study, TARDOX, evaluating the feasibility of a ThermoDox/focused ultrasound combination to treat liver tumors. The data will be presented at RSNA in Chicago. • The primary endpoint of the study was the doxorubicin concentration in tumor biopsies before and after focused ultrasound-mediated hyperthermia as measured by high performance liquid chromatography. • ThermoDox is encapsulated doxorubicin. After infusion, it is heated to a specific temperature which releases the cancer drug directly into a tumor. • Previously: Celsion up 8% on HEAT study publication and therapeutic potential of ThermoDox + RFA (Oct. 16)
