Hier nochmal der Kommentar: 5700 is the default SIC code in the retail home good category. The first two numbers are what sector the business is in. The third number specifies the industry group so agriculture construction etc. The last number is what matters the most. It differentiates businesses that share the first two digits that share the same industry group. Also, I haven’t seen this mentioned but a company can have up to 4 separate sic codes for a single entity. NAICS codes are more specific so that would be the one that would be more likely to raise flags if those were shared. This is hopium and fun, but it definitely does not tell any story at all.
