Competition - Meir talked about the competition in industry, and said there are plenty of companies doing what SAS started 3-4 years ago. Binding MOUs - Meir mentioned that there have been a lot of questions from shareholders about "Binding MOUs", and if they are worth anything. - In a nutshell, yes they have a significance. - He said the process usually is 1. Letter of Intent -> 2. MOU -> 3. Binding MOU. - Binding MOUs have financial terms, which detail something like "Customer ABC will buy x amount of terminals, price per phone call will be x, price per message will be x" - Other things like Legals still need to be negotiated beyond the Binding MOU. - Binding MOUs further validate the business model and technology. Insurance 3Ds had limited insurance, however Pearls have very comprehensive insurance. Insurance for Pearls includes (but not limited to): - launching - in orbit testing - resourcing costs for the development of the Pearls. In the event that something goes wrong, the insurance will adequately cover all costs which will minimize exposure to SAS. Ground Stations Meir addressed questions about ground infrastructure, that has been raised by Shareholders recently. He mentioned that there is no dependency on ground stations or ground licenses, which makes the business concept very disruptive. Launch Provider - Planning to launch with Virgin Orbit mid-2019 (date not set in stone as yet), as subject to Virgin Orbit testing progress. - SAS are discussing with other launch providers as a contingency plan. GOMSpace - GOMSpace have invested their own funds to build a production line for SAS. (I beleive $25 million was quoted - perhaps someone can confirm). - Pearls have completed design phase, and are now in Production phase via GOMSpace. - not entirely sure if this means they are currently being built as of now....?? Staff Movements - Brett stepped down, but still plays an advisory service to the company - Michael Malone said a few brief words - he said he was very enthusiastic and excited to be involved. - SAS were in the process of hiring another non-exec director Funding - institutional investors will be targeted for the next 12-18 months, instead of retail investors. - looking to secure funding of approx. $20M for the 1st batch of satellites (Approx. $1M per satellite) - Revenues from the 1st batch (together with existing contracts in place) is expected to support the operational costs of the company going forward. - 3Ds revenue was raised - we expect revenues in Q1 2019 "probably" - Meir said the 3Ds were primarily used for demonstrations, not revenue generation, and Sat Space Africa purchased all bandwidth of 3Ds, and are using it to demonstrate to their clients, which could in turn lead to additional customers. Share Price - someone asked Meir what has happened to the SP. - Meir said he is only concerned about building the business, and leaves the SP to the market. - One attendee mentioned that Meir should pay more notice to the SP, as a low SP can impact the ability to raise funds. - Meir understood this point, but then responded to say that all announcements over the past 2 years have been all positive, and he just wants to concentrate on moving the business forward. - MM then stepped in and said that once funding is secured and 1st revenues are received, he expects the SP to move in the right direction. - MM did mention that the chart indicates that SAS is a good buy.

Talked about that they are doing what need to be done to make SAS a billion dollar company and that won't take 3 or 4 years. Got the impression they might be after $20m to get the first batch up initially, which I suppose would give them the ability to better prove the capabilities of the Pearls and sign more contracts. Also seems that they decided that the 3D's bandwidth that Sat-Space Africa was going to use, was better used by them free of charge to demonstrate to Sat-Space's customers the abilities of the constellation rather than try to get a small amount of revenue from them.

Positives ·       Michael Malone came across to me as refreshingly candid.   He rates the company technology and management highly. ·       The company have been talking to fund managers recently in regard to funding which will hopefully result in funding being sorted ·       The company met with 100 potential customers in Africa at Africa.com recently which will hopefully result in more binding MOUs / contracts   Negatives ·       No revenue from 3D until mid 2019 o  The explanation was that the 3Ds were focussed on customer demonstrations o  While this makes perfect sense there was no acceptance that shareholders expectations have not been met ie: the company released an announcement saying they were making revenue but never released a subsequent announcement to say things had changed. ·       Time was too brief for questions and key questions remain unanswered.

They have been talking to Institutio investors over the last few days which is very vey positive. Mm will become a shareholder he said. In Africa com they had over 100 meetings with potential clients such as MTN and other big players very interesting and can't wait for some to become contracts. They are also talking to other launch providers as back up that has not been released to the market yet another big + We have insurance just in case Mm said speed cast will be a potential client of SAS. Binding MOU is binding it has a financial term in the agreements. First batch of pearls is enough to cover operational cost 3 batch self funded 3 diamonds are taking a little longer than expected to recieve revenue but most probably in the first quarter 2019 money will be received Only testing purposes but they will recieve the money. They are using most of the data for testing with potential clients so sat space is only using half of the capabilities 2 times a day.
