ACB 19.2 Million Uncovered Shorts - Remember Tesla During the big dip in Aurora Cannabis shares this past Tuesday, it appears professional hedge fund short-sellers were buyers (hope you didn't feed them). Also, over the past 2 weeks, bears have reduced their ACB short-sale holdings. Nevertheless, ACB currently has **19.2 million uncovered shorts** \- 13.65% of the *real float*. About 33%, and up to 55%, of the daily volume in ACB is short-selling. Meaning, more inexperienced day traders are selling ACB and/or hedge funds are throwing in the towel before the market closes rather than increase their overnight short holdings. This is bullish news because it shows that longs are holding strong - not feeding the bears - and hedge funds have determined that the price of ACB is too low to short. With lots of room on the upside, Aurora offers more risk than rewards for bears. Simply put, it's too dangerous to sell ACB stock at these levels. If you think a beaten down stock like ACB with 13.65% short interest is going nowhere, keep Tesla in mind. On March 18, 2020, Tesla traded as low as $79.10. It was bleeding cash, and had about 16 million uncovered shorts (11%) - which is less than Aurora Cannabis has now. As a result of dedicated stock holders, good news, and short covering shares of Tesla skyrocketed. On January 26, Tesla traded as high as 900.40, an increase of 1100% in 10 months. Investors can do the same for Aurora Cannabis! Sure, during the next big spikes in shares of ACB (and they will occur) bears will be back selling short. But until then, I'm buying, holding, and looking up.🤨
