Shares of Avalo Therapeutics more than tripled in after-hours trading Wednesday, following news the company acquired privately held AlmataBio in a stock-for-stock transaction. Avalo shares, which closed the day's regular session at $4.75, were trading at $16.40 in Wednesday's after-hours market. Through the deal Avalo acquired a Phase 2-ready anti-IL-1 mAb, which it refers to as AVTX-009. The company said it plans to pursue the development of AVTX-009 in hidradenitis suppurativa and also intends to develop AVTX-009 in at least one other chronic inflammatory indication. Also on Wednesday, Avalo announced private placement financing of up to $185 million, which includes an initial upfront investment of $115.6 million. The financing is expected to extend the company's cash runway into 2027, it said.

Manche halten mich vielleicht für verrückt - aber bin gerade noch bei 15€ rein. Wenn das alles stimmt mit den 180 Mio privatea Investment könnte es aufgrund Market Cap auch auf 30-50 gehen. Mal sehen.
