BICO Partners with the Center for Contemporary Sciences to Reduce Animal Testing in Life Sciences The two organizations will work closely to build support for the bipartisan FDA Modernization Act and reduce animal testing by promoting human-specific medical research technologies that include advanced in-vitro tissue models and 3D bioprinting. Today BICO, a leading bio convergence company, announced a partnership with the Center for Contemporary Sciences (CCS), a research and advocacy organization championing the advancement of human-relevant methodologies in scientific research and drug discovery. Together the two organizations plan to closely align strategy and outreach efforts to support the passage of the bipartisan FDA Modernization Act of 2021, along with other initiatives to reduce animal testing in the life sciences industry. The FDA Modernization Act would amend the 1938 Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act legislation that requires all new pharmaceuticals be tested on animals for safety and efficacy, regardless of whether such tests are predictive or relevant to outcomes in humans. With more than 80 years in existence, this regulation contributes to an estimated 100 million animals being experimented on each year for biomedical research in the U.S. alone, at least 90% failure rate in human clinical trials, and a staggering cost in the development of new pharmaceutical drugs, which is typically passed onto consumers. One of the main goals of the partnership is to promote bio convergence technologies to accelerate human-relevant drug development and other applications, without experimentation on animals. Such technologies include advanced in-vitro tissue models, 3D bioprinting, organs-on-a-chip, and sophisticated microfluidics platforms. “The Center for Contemporary Sciences will be a key ally in our efforts to help pass the FDA Modernization Act,” says Erik Gatenholm, CEO and co-founder at BICO. “Aysha and her team bring decades of experience in science, medicine, and policy to help develop and advance human-relevant technologies that drive positive change in the industry.” The Center for Contemporary Sciences’ goal is to educate, connect, and support the scientific research industry with modern innovations but also replace experimental animal testing. With a science-driven mission that recognizes that animal models are not translatable to human biology, CCS places emphasis on human-relevant methods that currently exist or can be developed, to provide a more accurate human response and bring safer, more efficacious therapies to market for the benefit of patients. Nochmals. Hebt die Fed an und die EU nicht, werden die Rohstoffe teurer, was sich auf Herstellung und Logistik auswirkt. Hebt die EU den Zins an, werden die Kredite teurer, was bei einem gut verschuldeten Unternehmen ggf. Zu Problemen führen kann. Bleibt zu hoffen, dass die FED die Zinsen nicht zu stark anhebt und die globalen Lieferketten wieder effizient laufen.

Drei Zinsschritte und eine deutliche Inflation sind gefühlt eingepreist. Starke Bewegung nach unten erwarte ich im Gesamtmarkt nur wenn es negative Entwicklungen gibt die keiner vorhersagen kann (Eskalation China/USA, Corona Mutante XY usw.)

Ehrlich gesagt glaube ich mit einem Anstieg des Zinsniveau und einer Inflation von 5% Plus werden Wachstumswerte wie Bico nochmal richtig rasiert. Bin zeitnah mit ner kleinen Posi dabei, aber denke es rutscht noch deutlich weiter ab.

Außer bei Kaspi.kz., da hab ich die 63,50 erwischt 😂 Nein aber du hast recht, als wir letztens auf 29 standen, dachte ich eigentlich das schlimmste wäre vorbei, aber von da aus einfach nochmal 30% wieder runter… Zumindest bin ich stark der Meinung dass man auf dem aktuellen Niveau nicht viel verkehrt machen kann, da ich nicht glaube, dass sich der Kurs von 20 nochmal halbieren wird, sollte 20 ein sehr guter Kurs für die nächste Jahre sein… 10-20% Schwankung können immer auftreten, aber auf die nächsten Jahre gesehen wird man darüber lachen.

@Mirkinho, Es ist zu hoffen. Aber das haben wir in letzter Zeit schon oft gehofft. Mit einem Nachkauf warte ich noch, bis es mehrere Tage steigt ohne starke Rücksetzer. Den tiefsten Punkt erwischt man eh nicht.

Wo hast du die 5% her? Ich finde nur Angaben mit 3,…

Hebt die FED die Zinsen ans und senkt somit die Inflation in den USA, eu aber inflationiert weiter den euro werden die rihstoffr exorbitant teuer, da diese in dollar gehandelt werden. Zudem kann auch die eu vermutlich nicht ins ewige die geldpolitik so weiter fahren. Die börse ist halt die bewertung der zukunft und da scheinen die großen anleger nicht ganz so positiv gestimmt zu sein. Ob recht oder unrecht werden wir dann sehen.

Es sind ja nicht die aktuellen Zinsen, sondern die Zinsängste.

Die aktuelle Inflationsrate in Schweden liegt bei ca.5%... Auch die EZB hat Zinsen noch nicht erhöht, weil sich die Mehrheit der Schuldnerländer dagegen wehrt. Schweden kann das nach Belieben machen.

Ah aber dann wird der Dollar gegenüber der schwedischen Krone stärker und das drückt den Aktienkurs, weil die ja in Schwedischen Kronen gehandelt werden… 💡♻️

Müsste cellink oder Bico da nicht sogar Vorteile durch haben? Wenn die sich günstigeres Geld leihen können, als Konkurrenten aus Übersee und damit bessere Margen haben? Blicke da noch nicht so genau durch, wenn die Inflation in Schweden nicht sonderlich hoch ist, gibt es ja keinen Grund für die die Zinsen anzuheben
