Vom Yahoo-Forum Guten Abend allerseits. Ich wünsche euch allen schöne Feiertage. Es herrscht allgemein Besorgnis, weil Novavax die BLA am 1. April nicht wie erwartet erhalten hat. Diese Sorge ist natürlich verständlich, denn die BLA wird den Kurs des Unternehmens für mindestens das kommende Jahr maßgeblich beeinflussen. Viele fragen sich, was passiert ist, zumal die FDA keinerlei Stellungnahme zur BLA abgegeben hat. Wenn es einen wissenschaftlichen Grund für eine Ablehnung gegeben hätte, hätte die FDA dies begründet abgelehnt. Der Grund ist jedoch offensichtlich politischer Natur – unter anderem durch einen Minister, der impfkritisch eingestellt ist, sowie andere Faktoren, die ich nicht nennen kann. Derzeit finden intensive Gespräche zwischen dem Novavax-Management und den zuständigen Stellen statt, in denen betont wird, wie dringend die BLA erteilt werden muss, da eine weitere Verzögerung dem Unternehmen schweren und ungerechtfertigten Schaden zufügen könnte. Ich bin absolut überzeugt, dass Novavax die BLA bald erhalten wird und uns im Mai mit einem goldenen Monat überraschen wird, den wir nicht vergessen werden.
