It's exciting to see continued momentum behind PlasCred's Neos project at CN's Scotford Yard in Alberta's Industrial Heartland. With ERA's $5 million investment helping advance Neos's development, the project is moving from planning to execution. Detailed engineering is underway, permitting is progressing, and on-site construction planning continues as the team prepares for the next phase. Once operational, Neos is expected to process up to 100 tonnes of hard-to-recycle mixed plastic waste each day, converting it into approximately 500 barrels of refined hydrocarbon condensate for use in the production of new plastics. This innovative approach supports a more circular economy while creating new opportunities for sustainable industrial growth. Projects like Neos showcase why Alberta's Industrial Heartland Association continues to be a destination for investment, innovation, and industry collaboration.
