uhoh Timbuktu 2.0 Scott Paterson's shell graduate, QYOU Media Inc. (QYOU), lost one-half cent to close at 41 cents on 244,867 shares. Brad Loiselle's shell graduate, BetterU Education Corp. (BTRU), rose eight cents to 30 cents on 91,526 shares. Both companies went public in March, 2017, through NEX shells. Today, QYOU and BetterU provided operations updates, both involving India. QYOU is a video content provider based in Dublin. It searches the Internet for videos that it can sell, and then it acquires rights to sell those videos. Its customers include Tele2 AB, the operator of a television channel in the Netherlands; ShowMax BV, which offers an on-line video subscription service (like Netflix) in Africa; Lufthansa Systems GmbH & Co. KG, which provides in-flight entertainment; and Buffalo Wild Wings, a U.S. sports bar and restaurant chain that shows sports-related videos on its TV screens. QYOU is not yet profitable. QYOU will provide video content to an Indian media company called Culture Machine. Culture Machine distributes digital content through channels such as Desi Hip Hop, Put Chutney and Being Indian. QYOU went public through Al Kroontje's NEX shell, Galleria Opportunities Ltd. In connection with the launch, QYOU sold a $5.38-million private placement at 50 cents. (This price represented no discount to the then market price of Galleria's shares.) There were 104 placees, of whom only two are known. Last year, the British Columbia Securities Commission began concealing the names of private placees, so investors can no longer tell if a company is being backed by experienced investors or a group of easily led doofuses. The TSX-V continues to require companies to identify private placees who are insiders, which is of little value, since investors already know who the insiders are. Insider Mr. Paterson bought 300,000 shares in the private placement, while another QYOU director, Tim Hogarth, bought 100,000 shares. They and the 102 other placees are down on their investment today. Mr. Paterson is the chairman of QYOU. He holds 5.08 million shares or 7.71 per cent of QYOU's shares. From 1998 to 2001, he was the chairman and chief executive officer of Yorkton Securities Inc. He steered the brokerage toward tech stocks, shortly after it faced a mining stock controversy (involving the notorious Timbuktu Gold Corp.) while under Frank Giustra. In 2001, Mr. Paterson resigned from Yorkton after he and four other employees ran into trouble with the Ontario Securities Commission. The OSC alleged that the four employees were shareholders and officers of start-ups such as Book4golf.com Corp. and EcomPark Inc., which they later sold to investors while they were brokers and analysts with Yorkton. Mr. Paterson settled with the OSC for $1.1-million including costs, without admitting any violation of securities laws. Yorkton settled for $1.45-million including costs. The OSC banned Mr. Paterson from trading for six months and from being a public company director or officer for two years. As well as resigning from Yorkton, Mr. Paterson also resigned as the vice-chairman of the Toronto Stock Exchange. Since 2002, Mr. Paterson has been the president of Paterson Partners Inc., a venture capital firm focusing on media and tech. He is also the chairman of Symbility Solutions Inc. (SY: $0.47), which offers software for managing insurance claims, and Engagement Labs Inc. (EL: $0.045), which offers marketing analytics software. Mr. Paterson is also a director of Mr. Giustra's New York Stock Exchange-listed Lionsgate Entertainment Corp. (LGF: $30.28 (U.S.)). Lionsgate is one of QYOU's customers. The shell's president, petroleum engineer Mr. Kroontje, did not join QYOU. He had been a director of Galleria Opportunities since 1994, when the company was still an Alberta oil and gas explorer called Galleria Resources Inc. Nach dem Hype von Gestern steht QYOU jetzt wieder auf Kaufen! Kursziel oberhalb von 0,43 CAD dürfte erstmal 0,53 CAD sein....

Jawoll, sieht sehr gut aus die heutige Entwicklung... Der lange atem über die Sommermonate macht sich vielleicht bezahlt... Bin auch noch im minus, bin aber sehr zuversichtlich...!
