3D Systems has submitted an improved takeover bid for Stratasys.The offer includes $100 million in cash and 1.4 shares of 3D Systems common stock for each share of Stratasys common stock.The deal values Stratasys at $1.4 billion, which is higher than the previous offer of $1.3 billion.The acquisition would create a leading player in the 3D printing industry.
