Likely reactions to anybody that would have made a bold statement in January 2025 that by Summer'25 the APT Price (as main tungsten intermediate) would break through $500/mtu (mtu = 10kg WO3). 🚨 And by the way, what happens in China 🇨🇳❓ 1️⃣ Top left chart highlights that EXW China prices already surpassed the $500-mark mid last week, tracking ahead of Fastmarkets price for CIF EU/US deliveries (bottom left). 🧐 One would assume that freight and financing would add additional costs to Chinese cargoes heading to the West (if at all released under current export restrictions) - wouldn't this lead to further price increase in the West❓ 2️⃣ Table below highlights the continuing decline in Chinese Government production quotas granted to domestic tungsten miners - down to 58,000t for H1/25 compared to 63,000t in H1/23 (-8%). 🧐 With global demand for this critical material growing, and China as the de facto monopolist cutting output quotas, wouldn't this also put further pressure on supply and therefore price❓

Die Stollen zu den hochgradigen Wolframerzlagerstätten sind fertiggestellt, und es wurde bereits genug Erz gelagert, um die erste Produktionsphase zu versorgen.
