Jefferies wrote in a report that the 1FQ results of BABA have exceeded expectations, reflecting the group's focus on user growth, ecosystems and technology, laying the groundwork for long-term development. Although there are still uncertainties in China's macro-environment, the growth rate of Taobao's daily active users increased in July on a MoM basis, and the average daily number of merchants paying for advertising hiked by more than 20%. In addition, other segments also showed rapid growth, and losses narrowed. The broker believed that BABA's core business would continue to provide strong cash flow, while it possessed execution and technical strength in digital and efficiency upgrades for the retail industry. This would power the tech giant's long-term growth momentum in the context of China's consumer upgrading. BABA's highly synergistic ecosystem also enables it to expand in low-tier cities, with cloud computing business being the pillar of digitization for different industries, indicating its clear market leadership. Jefferies maintained its Buy rating on BABA, and the target price is raised from $177 to $181.

BABA delivered a solid set of FY1Q24 results, with operating revenue and profit beating estimates, on the back of faster growth across all key business lines, BofA Securities wrote in its report. The overall revenue lifted 14% YoY, among which Taobao and Tmall group revenue advanced 12%, with core customer management revenue (CMR) gaining 10%, primarily due to a low base last year and a successful "618" shopping festival promotion. BofA Securities forecast BABA's revenue and adjusted EBITA to grow by 9% and 12% in FY2024, and accordingly raised its TP on BABA from $134 to $139, reiterating its Buy rating.

Also wer sich die Quartalszahlen mal angesehen hat, weiß was zu tun ist. Jesus $5,4 Mrd FCF in einem Quartal +76% ggü. dem Vorjahresquartal. Wenn Alibaba so weiter macht und die Amis weiter drücken, wird Alibaba langsam aber sicher alle Aktien selbst zurückkaufen und shareholder value für die Hodler generieren

Jedesmal darf ich wieder verkaufen und unter 80 einsammeln. Muss doch irgendwann mal oben ausbrechen... Naja ich warte dann mal wieder auf Kurse unter 80. Klappte ja (leider) bisher immer
