Von vor 5Tagen: Die dünn gehandelte Nano-Kappe Allena Pharmaceuticals (ALNA -46,7%) schätzt das 22-fache Volumen als Reaktion auf die Ergebnisse zweier klinischer Studien zur Bewertung der Reloxaliase (ALLN-177) von Bleikandidaten bei Patienten mit einer Fett-Malabsorptionsstörung namens enterische Hyperoxalurie ( EH), beide positiven Ergebnisse laut Unternehmen. Die Phase-3-URIROX-1-Studie erfüllte den primären Endpunkt der prozentualen Veränderung der 24-Stunden-Oxalatausscheidung (UOx) während der Wochen 1 bis 4 gegenüber dem Ausgangswert. Insbesondere betrug die durchschnittliche Reduktion bei behandelten Patienten 22,6% im Vergleich zu 9,7% bei Placebo (p = 0,004), was einer Trennung von 12,9% entspricht. Vorläufige Daten aus Studie 206, einer Phase-2-Studie bei EH-Patienten mit fortgeschrittener chronischer Nierenerkrankung (CNE) zeigten UOx-Reduktionen von 29% bzw. 42% über Wochen 4-12 bei zwei Patienten mit Stadium 3 CKD. Bei acht Teilnehmern wurden ebenfalls signifikante Reduzierungen des Plasmaoxalats (POx) beobachtet (19 - 68%). Die Anleger scheinen auf die geringere Auswirkung auf den UOx-Spiegel in der Spätstudie zu reagieren. Die Datenanalysen laufen noch. URIROX-2 rekrutiert derzeit Patienten. Der voraussichtliche Fertigstellungstermin ist Januar 2023.

Konkurrenzsituation: Progenra Roivant Sciences Protalix BioTherapeutics Wenn ein Produkt auf dem Markt wäre, wäre Allena nicht so günstig bewertet, sondern in ganz anderen Kursbereichen.

Wie sieht das denn hier schon gibt es schon Produkte wenn nein in welcher Phase steckt die Entwicklung zu welchen Produkten. Gibt es schon Partner und welche Firmen sind hier direkte Konkurrenten? Was hat das Unternehmen für ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal? An sich ist das Thema Nierensteine ja weit verbreitet und unangenehm, weshalb man sowas voranbringen sollte.

Allena Pharmaceuticals: Unique Treatment For Enteric Hyperoxaluria Not Reflected In Valuation Summary Allena Pharmaceuticals drug, Reloxaliase, is in Phase 3 clinical trials for enteric hyperoxaluria (EH), a leading cause of the most common type of kidney stone. Topline data from one of the Phase 3 studies, URIROX-1, is slated to be released before the end of the year.  Data from URIROX-2 should become available in 2021. Current treatment of enteric hyperoxaluria primarily involves dietary modifications and calcium supplementation, but compliance is variable. EH can result from inflammatory bowel disease, short bowel syndrome, celiac disease or as a result of gastric bypass for obesity.
