The FFCTO was originally issued on May 6, 2025, as a result of the company's delay in filing its annual audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2024, along with the accompanying management discussion and analysis and related certifications within the prescribed time period under applicable securities regulations. During the period in which the FFCTO was in effect, the company continued to operate its core business activities; however, trading in the company's securities was temporarily restricted. The revocation restores normal trading activity. ASEP Medical remains committed to maintaining strong corporate governance practices and timely financial reporting. With the FFCTO now revoked pursuant to National Policy 11-207, Failure-to-File Cease Trade Orders and Revocations in Multiple Jurisdictions, the company will continue to advance its strategic initiatives, including the further development and commercialization of its sepsis diagnostic (SepsetER) and anti-biofilm peptide technology platforms.
