Wenn eine Konsole auch als vollwertiger PC genutzt werden kann, sinkt dieses Risiko deutlich. Man stelle sich vor die xbox hätte ein vollwertiges Windows OS. Da würden so einige drauf zugreifen würde ich sagen. Zudem bei 0815 Hardware aus dem Regal ohne eigentwickung in dem Bereich macht das ganze entwickeln deutlich billiger wie damals, sofern man nicht seinen eigenen Senf mit reinstecken will.

Eine Konsole als Konkurrenz zu PlayStation und Xbox ist zu Teuer und ein sehr großes Risiko. Schließlich haben zwei Konsolen Flops damals Atari und Sega den Todesstoß versetzt. Ich finde es richtig mehr auf Nische und Neues zu setzen.

Korrektur... 4 Player (Sony, MS, Nintendo + Atari). Wenn Sega wollte, könnten die auch was reißen aber für mehr wie mini Retro Konsolen reicht es nicht.
