Taykwa Tagamou Nation closes a $20-million groundbreaking deal on a Timmins nickel project Transaction with Canada Nickel lauded as the largest Indigenous investment in a Canadian critical minerals project Canada Nickel is putting together a financing package for this fall to build the $1.7-billion project through a combination of strategic and offtake partners, First Nations and government funders. Canada Nickel has not yet made a construction decision but expects to some time this year. Since Crawford will be an open-pit mine, the goal is to begin first production by the end of 2027. Ja, ist genau das, was ich mir dachte, dass man die FN nicht blöd aussehen lassen kann.

Wenn ich so drüber nachdenke und bei CEO.CA im Forum mitlese könnte man meinen, dass es durch ein 20mio Invest durch die First Nations nun so gut wie sicher ist das das Ding gebaut wird. Warum sollte sonst ein ganzer Stamm 20mio reinhauen und in 2 Jahren rausfinden die Kohle ist weg. Ich gehe davon aus man hat gerade hier intensiver geprüft. Zumal das Invest später war als von Agnico oder SDI sind doch dann mehr Fakten auf den Tisch. Bei der Summe durften die bestimmt auch Dinge sehen die man so als Retail Shareholder nie vorab sieht. Somit musstes dich ja jetzt schon freuen wenn der Kurs niedrig ist so kann man schön nachkaufen. Auf der Haben Seite ist: Invest Agnico als erfolgreicher Betreiber von Goldminen der lange Zeit nie was Anderes gemacht hat als Gold zu fördern und jetzt sich andere Investments raus sucht. (Evtl. sind die extrem Konträr dann passt Nickel super - Ag - Silber - Ni - Nickel - Co - Cobalt = Agnico) SDI die Nickel brauchen müssten wegen der Batterien TTM die Interesse haben ihr Geld zu vermehren aber auch am guten Umgang mit ihrer Natur und Gegend Einspeichern von CO2 in die Tailings was auch Carney also der Regierung gefallen muss ist doch deren Devise CO2 schonend zu operieren Große Landpakete mit vielen Ressourcen Mine friendly Jurisdiction Kid Mine in Timmins am schließen und man braucht was neues Stromtrassen verfügbar mit Wasserkraft gespeist Nachteil: Geringer Nickelgrade Hohen Investsummen für Minen und Metall Smelter (Hatte Grasi ja schon immer mal angeführt) Was denkt ihr so drüber - nachvollziehbar oder fehlt was entscheidendes

Ring of Fire is taking too long. Governments no longer willing to abide consultations that last two decades without results Canada Nickel and three First Nations began talks on the Crawford Nickel Sulphide Project in the Timmins area in December 2020 with a memorandum of understanding. In 2025, having secured financing for the company's mine fleet with a third First Nation, Canada Nickel announced that businesses in the original three communities would have a competitive advantage in securing contracts related to the project. Engineering design work is under way with production to begin in 2027. Five years from the start of talks to completion of agreements sounds reasonable. Twenty-two years from the start of talks on the Ring of Fire to more talks is not reasonable. This project stands to place Canada among the world leaders in the supply of critical and other minerals. It is a huge opportunity for all Canadians that must not be squandered any longer.
