Nein, bei Cine werden wohl immer nur 2 mal im Jahr die zahlen bekannt gegeben. Halbjahres zahlen also

Wurden gestern keine Quartalszahlen präsentiert?

Ich war so doof und habe bei 0,43 Cent eingekauft letztens. Jetzt wurde aber nachgeordert. Es gibt nur Komplettverlust oder ein richtig guter Gewinn. Da Cineworld ja eine "Markenaktie" ist sehe ich gute Chancen. Und trotz 2 Meter TV-Diagonale daheim, gehen die Leute ins Kino wie ich sehe. Wäre gut wenn die Cineplex Strafe wesentlich geringer ausfallen würde. Der Kurs ist wahrhaftig nervig und versaut fast jeden Tag die Stimmung.......noch......

Ich habe heute noch ein letztes Mal richtig ordentlich nachgelegt. Kino bleibt meiner Meinung nach eine beliebte Freizeitaktivität. Cineworld ist gut aufgestellt. Es kommen dieses Jahr viele gute Filme. Die hohe Verschuldung und der Prozess sind die Schattenseite...

So wies aussieht ist nichts spezielles gesprochen worden heute?!

AGM all finished and concluded, BlueBuxton was also there and now I’m just finding out that HNS was too but we just missed him! AGM started with Alicja (chair) introducing herself and all of the board and executives. Then it came time for questions. One individual asked about why Wandsworth was chosen as the venue, to which Alicja replied that it was tradition but she would take the comment on board for the future. I managed to ask 3 questions before Alicja told me we have to move forward (don’t worry, there’s more after!). The question about how the company is planning to deal with the huge debt and whether dilution would occur was answered by Nisan. In a nutshell, he said they are ‘considering all options’, but he didn’t give a straight answer. Next question was about Cineplex and how the company is preparing for a negative result. Mooky answered this one and said the same statement as before, they strongly disagree and are hopeful about the appeal. He spoke a tiny bit about the lenders and how it’s a huge amount etc etc, but no massive revelation here. Next question I believe I asked was about whether there was a concrete date for the appeal result to be announced, I don’t recall them giving me a specific date. Alicja then said we have to move on lol, then another shareholder asked about how Cineworld is paying their employees (it was a solid question), it was about whether they would pay them living wage etc etc, both Alicja and Mooky answered and said that the rise is roughly in line with inflation and that CINE is paying more than some other competitors. Then the voting started, the meeting closed and we were told the directors would be available for a chat outside continued…

Mooky was quickly engaged with another shareholder, so Ashley, Dean and Damian approached us. We asked them about the court case more specifically and they said that the case being based on synergies was just ridiculous. Overall, they seemed positive on the future outcome in my opinion. We asked about the US listing, they said that has not been shelved and is still on the table as a way of obtaining further liquidity. Damian also spoke a bit about the shareholder base in the US, I believe he was referring to the fact that the investor base in the US is a lot more bigger. We asked about the Netflix situation and whether they would consider asking them to bring in some of their material for a theatrical window. All three agreed it was a good idea, and they suggested I pose it to Mooky. So we did just that, Mooky gave a comprehensive answer. He said he has very good relations with Netflix, and he said that there are options. He spoke about a 7 day window, but said that is not good enough for us. Now just typing it out, it is interesting that he said 7 days specifically and already decided it wasn’t good. I personally think Netflix may have already suggested a 7 day window, but Mooky said no. He never said exactly that Netflix made an offer, but he went on to say that we have agreements with other studios for 45 days, so if we gave 7 days to Netflix then you would have all the other studios coming to complain. The fact that this answer was so comprehensive does make me think that Netflix has shown interest in some sort of theatrical window, but to be clear Mooky never said anything about it specifically, just my own viewpoint. We asked about the relations with lenders and movie studios, he said they were good. He was particularly confident in my opinion, and this matches up well with the recent waiver we received. We asked about the Cineworld day to the three individuals from before, they said it went extremely well and was a huge success. They mentioned that even some other competitors were planning to copy it. Lastly, we asked Mooky about the LTIP and whether he still sees himself getting it. He was certainly careful with what he said, but he said with the slate on the way it may bode very well with the sp (words to that effect from my memory). He mentioned that he still holds his 20%, to which I said ‘nice that we are all in this together’ and then he said ‘of course, we are all in this together’ which was really nice. He did say that he was optimistic (or words to that effect). I also asked about whether an out of court settlement could be forthcoming, to which they replied that there were many options on the table. I don’t remember the specific thing they said, but I can tell you for definite that they never said ‘no’.
