Trotz Dominanz großer Player wie Apple, Samsung, Verizon, AT&T und T-Mobile, setzt die Trump-Organisation auf ein national produziertes Angebot. In einem Markt mit über 60 Millionen verkauften Smartphones jährlich – meist aus Asien – ist das eine Seltenheit. Die ersten Geräte sollen ab September erhältlich sein. Als Reaktion auf die Ankündigung reagierten auch die Börsenkurse der etablierten Anbieter AT&T, Verizon und T-Mobile US bereits und gaben vorbörslich leicht nach.
