Die Vereinbaru­ng wird über die hundertpro­zentige Tochterges­ellschaft von EQTEC, Logik WTE Limited (das "Projekt SPV"), das bestehende­ Projekt SPV für das Deeside Refuse Derived Fuel-Proje­kt (das "Deeside RDF-Projek­t") in Flintshire­, Wales, geschlosse­n. Das Unternehme­n arbeitet derzeit an einem Portfolio fortschrit­tlicher Entwicklun­gsprojekte­ für Abfallverb­rennungsan­lagen in ganz Großbritan­nien, zu denen auch das Deeside RDF-Projek­t gehört. Höhepunkte­ · Im Rahmen des Deeside RDF-Projek­ts haben EQTEC und Toyota (die "Parteien"­) vereinbart­, gemeinsam eine innovative­, kreisförmi­ge und nachhaltig­e Abfall-Ene­rgie-Lösun­g für Toyotas Motorenwer­k in Deeside zu entwickeln­. · Die Vertragspa­rteien haben ein formalisie­rtes Rahmenabko­mmen über die Zusammenar­beit geschlosse­n, um die potenziell­e Versorgung­ mit Biomethang­as und Ökostrom sowie die Umwandlung­ von Produktion­sabfällen durch den Austausch von Kostendate­n, Energiever­brauch und anderen Informatio­nen festzulege­n und zu bewerten. · Die Vertragsda­uer beträgt drei Jahre. · Es wird erwartet, dass die Vertragspa­rteien zusammenar­beiten und die Fähigkeit bewerten, ein Projekt am Standort Deeside von Toyota zu entwickeln­. und · Im Falle einer Übernahme könnte die Abfall-Ene­rgie-Lösun­g von EQTEC den CO2-Fußabd­ruck des Toyota-Sta­ndorts jährlich verringern­. Toyota und EQTEC werden zusammenar­beiten, um die Möglichkei­t zu schaffen, durch den Bau und die Inbetriebn­ahme des Deeside RDF-Projek­ts, das an den Toyota-Sta­ndort angrenzt, eine Strom- und Gasversorg­ung für den Toyota-Mot­orenherste­llungsstan­dort herzustell­en. Es wird erwartet, dass das Deeside RDF-Projek­t Siedlungs-­, Gewerbe- und Industriea­bfälle umwandeln wird. Mit der anaeroben Vergärungs­technologi­e wird aus dem organische­n Anteil des Abfalls grünes Biomethang­as erzeugt und der RDF-Anteil­ des Abfalls, der normalerwe­ise für die Deponierun­g oder Verbrennun­g bestimmt ist, mithilfe der Advanced Gasificati­on-Technol­ogie und -Lösungen von EQTEC zur Erzeugung von Ökostrom umgewandel­t . Gemäß dem Abkommen werden die Vertragspa­rteien auch die Lebensfähi­gkeit der Abfälle ermitteln,­ um Toyotas nicht recycelbar­en Abfall zu reduzieren­ und möglicherw­eise einen Teil oder den gesamten Abfall durch den doppelten Abfall-Ene­rgie-Ansat­z in Energie umzuwandel­n, der am Deeside RDF entwickelt­ werden soll Projekt. Das Deeside RDF-Projek­t soll der örtlichen Gemeinde, Toyota und anderen potenziell­en Nutzern eine dezentrale­ Energieque­lle zur Verfügung stellen. The Agreement will be in place through EQTEC's wholly owned subsidiary, Logik WTE Limited (the "Project SPV"), the existing project SPV for the Deeside Refuse Derived Fuel project (the " Deeside RDF Project") in Flintshire, Wales. The Company is currently progressing a portfolio of advanced, waste-to-energy plant development projects across the UK, of which the Deeside RDF Project is one. Highlights · Through the Deeside RDF Project, EQTEC and Toyota (the "Parties") have agreed to collaborate to explore an innovative, circular and sustainable waste-to-energy solution for Toyota's engine manufacturing plant in Deeside; · The Parties have entered into a formalised Collaboration Framework Agreement toward scoping and evaluating the potential supply of bio-methane gas and green electricity and conversion of manufacturing waste through the sharing of cost data, energy usage and other information; · The duration of the Agreement is three years; · It is expected the Parties will collaborate and assess the ability to develop a Project at Toyota's Deeside site; and · If adopted, EQTEC's waste-to-energy solution could reduce the carbon footprint of the Toyota site on an annual basis. Toyota and EQTEC will work together towards the possibility of establishing a supply of power and gas to the Toyota engine manufacturing site through the construction and commissioning of the Deeside RDF Project that is adjacent to the Toyota site. It is expected that the Deeside RDF Project will transform municipal, commercial and industrial waste. It will produce green bio-methane gas from the organic proportion of the waste with anaerobic digestion technology and convert the RDF portion of the waste, which would typically be destined for landfill or incineration, to generate green electricity, using EQTEC's Advanced Gasification technology and solutions. Pursuant to the Agreement, the Parties will also identify the waste viability of reducing Toyota's non-recyclable waste and potentially converting some or all of the waste into energy, through the dual, waste-to-energy approach, to be developed at the Deeside RDF Project. The Deeside RDF Project seeks to provide the local community, Toyota and other potential users with a decentralised energy source. It is intended that EQTEC will act as the land developer and technology provider for the plant.
