Der Aktiensplit soll 5 zu 1 betragen. Das muss erst noch auf Jahreshauptversammlung, die morgen am 17. Juni 2022 stattfinden wird, genehmigt werden. Zustimmung gilt als sicher. Ein Aktiensplit tut statistisch jeder Aktie gut, denn es zieht Kleinaktionäre an, für die sich die Aktie optisch "verbilligt". Und man bekommt mehr Stück, für sein Geld. Es sollte dem Kurs helfen. Allerdings haben wir den gegenläufigen Trend eines Bärenmarktes. Ich bin zuversichtlich.

Fortinet hält sich im Vergleich zu den Grossen ganz gut. Abfall vom Höchst: Apple -19.5%; Google -24.8%; AMD -39.2%; Amazon -39.6%; Tesla -44.3% ;Meta -47.7%; Nvidia, -49.3%. Fortinet: -17.9%. Klassensieger!

For the quarter ended March 31, Fortinet reported a profit before costs such as stock compensation of $155.1 million, or 94 cents per share, up from $164.2 million, or 81 cents per share, in the same quarter of 2021. Revenue rose 34%, to $954.8 million. Analysts had expected an adjusted profit of 80 cents per share on revenue of $885 million. The figures for Fortinet were up across the board. Product revenue grew to $371 million in the quarter, up 54% year-over-year, while service revenue came in a $583.3 million, up 24%. Total billings rose 36%, to $1.16 billion, and deferred revenue as of the end of March rose 33%, to $3.66 billion. Bookings jumped 50% from a year ago, to $1.28 billion, with a backlog of $278.3 million.
