Der allererste Gedanke, den ich hatte, war, dass Ryan gleichzeitig auf mehrere verschiedene Unternehmen zugehen und sie im Wesentlichen per LBO (Leveraged Buyout) übernehmen wird – wobei er jeweils die eigene Kredit- und Finanzierungskraft des Zielunternehmens nutzt, um es in den GameStop-Konzern einzugliedern. Im Grunde würde er damit nach dem Lehrbuch von Private-Equity-Gesellschaften vorgehen. Diese Strategie nenne ich „Instant Berkshire“.

Badrobot liefert in den comments zu 50/50 cash/equity noch folgende Ergänzung nach, die ich höchst spannend finde ‼️
"Ryan mentioned a lot of the institutional shareholder he spoke to might prefer the equity over cash. So yes, there may be way less cash in the deal than originally proposed."
