Up 5%. During blackout / no buyback (Jan 2026): January: $52 → $64. Up 13%. The stock ROSE 13% the month Novo stopped buying. Then on February 4 — the FIRST DAY of the new buyback programme — Novo published guidance of -5% to -13% sales decline. The stock crashed 15% that day. From $59 to $43. The new DKK 3.8B buyback tranche started buying immediately. At $43. Then $38. Then $36. Average buyback prices tell the story: Feb 4-27: DKK 286.95 per share Feb 4 - Mar 20: DKK 266.53 Feb 4 - Mar 27: DKK 261.91 Each week, the average price drops. More shares per DKK spent. 9.16 million B shares acquired at an average of DKK 261.91. That's 20% below where the stock traded during the January blackout. Now the timeline repeats: ~April 6: Blackout begins (30 days before Q1 results May 6) April 6 - May 6: No buyback. No buying pressure. No selling pressure. May 6: Q1 results. 1.2M Wegovy pill prescriptions vs -13% guidance. If January's pattern repeats, the stock rises during the blackout.
