In a recent FDA filing, the company presented lab tests showing major quality issues in compounded products, including impurities, structural peptide changes, and doses ranging from 0.4% to 302% of the labeled strength. Novo argues these findings show semaglutide may be too complex to compound safely at scale, which could justify adding it to the FDA’s Demonstrable Difficulties for Compounding (DDC) list. Das las sich erstmal so, als hätte NN etwas in seinen eigenen Arzneien gefunden. Ist aber nicht der Fall, die Initial News ist so abgefasst, als hätte nicht ein Prüfer/Amt die Abweichungen entdeckt, sondern halt NN selbst. Was davon nun der Fall ist, weiß ich selbst nicht. Die Hauptsache ist, dass nicht Semaglutid selbst problematisch ist, sondern nur das Mischen und Herstellen durch Dritte. Irritierend fand ich in dem Zusammenhang den letzten Satz wo es heißt, LLY prüft, auf Tirzepatid auszuweichen….kann das noch mal jemand anders klarstellen?!

Das Thema hier ist, dass diese Nachrtichten nicht wirklich neu sind. Solange die FDA oder DOJ nicht massiv gegen das mass-compounding vorgeht juckt das den Kurs nicht.

Vielen Dank für die Erläuterung. Ich habe aber irgendwie das Gefühl positive Nachrichten für den Aktienkurs von NN perlen zur Zeit ab als hätten sie keine Wirkung. Irgendwann muss der Markt aber mal reagieren.

Novo says it found significant unknown peptide impurities and structural variations
One sample contained roughly 302% of labeled strength
Another had only 0.4% of the intended dose
One injectable labeled as semaglutide contained about 29% tirzepatide-related impurities
All of which strengthens the argument that sema is difficult to compound and that it should be added to the DDC list
Lilly is pursuing a parallel strategy with tirzepatide

Woher ist das? Dass Novo in Proben 80% Verunreinigungen (chemische Fehler/Nebenprodukte ) gefunden hat, hab ich schon mal gelesen.
