British Airways, the only partner of Velocys at the moment, is extremely struggling with the Corona crisis and the future of B.A. does not really look good from the outside either. Should B.A. implement further austerity measures, it is already suspected in forums that they will sell Velocys, which will result in insolvency for Velocys. The application that Velocys has raised due to the departure of Shell means lastly state aid and not state support. Strictly speaking, these are two different forms of support. A statement from Velocys would be advisable in view of the situation.
