Macquarie Report Outperform

Event  PLS has released a corporate presentation that indicated 2QFY19 spodumene concentrate production while we also incorporate the latest shipping data. Impact  Indicative production in line, shipping a beat: PLS’s latest presentation indicates production from Pilgangoora of ~47.7koz over 2QFY19, 3% below our expectations. The presentation also indicates that Lithia recoveries from processing over the quarter are in line with our expectation at ~47%. Port data from December also indicates PLS shipped a total of 52kt of concentrate over 2QFY19, 6% above our expectation. We have adjusted our 2QFY18 production to be in line with the volumes indicated by the shipping data and corporate presentation. We have also assumed that PLS will extend the capitalisation of operating cash flows to include 3QFY19.  Strong concentrate grades: PLS also noted in the presentation that the average grade of concentrate shipped thus far is 6.11% Li2O which exceeds the 6.0% grade specified by offtake agreements. Impurities are also low with PLS reporting an average Fe grade of 1.27%. We believe that the volumes and grade produced from Pilgangoora at this stage of the ramp-up indicate the quality of the resource and processing infrastructure. Hay Hao.....ich bin nicht wegen der Divi hier investiert ,sondern weil ich langfristig und die Betonung liegt auf langfristig hier sehr gute Chancen sehe,wie schon einige Analysten schrieben ist der E-Boom unumkehrbar ,muss aber jeder für sich entscheiden,Geld auf der Bank bei 0 Zinsen oder hier bei Pilbara wo es die nächsten Jahre massiv nach oben gehen wird !

Dat heißt, mit Ken an der Spitze ist uns in Zukunft die Dividende sicher! Wunderbar! Noch ein Grund mehr über viele Jahre investiert zu bleiben....

Reckon Ken learnt a thing or two as boss at Atlas- and has used this as a spur to his pursuits at PLS. Ken has done a fabulous job with two key areas at least... 1) Locking in offtakes that have paid for development. 2) Building PLS very quickly and expertly. He really needs to be commended for how quick he has taken PLS from a resource/dream to Producer. Given how hard it is now to lock in money from manufacturers in the current market imo- Ken has put PLS well ahead of the pack and a real front runner. Can see why he uses dividends as a future spur, as we are in a great position with offtakes, etc, and has used others money to help build PLS into a position of strength.  Now, I can see the benefits to dividends in attracting new investors, and also rewarding share holders, I also feel Ken will also make sure PLS maintains a position of strength- either by building the PLS empire, or continuing to expand its resource and potential.  Imo, Ken at Atlas would have been frustrated being the little brother (opposed to BHP & Rio), and watched it being fed off the scraps off the tables. I just get the feeling our esteemed leader is ‘really driven’ by this time at Atlas and looks to PLS as a potential ‘Lithium Super Power’, and this makes me very happy to continue soaking up the shares at this price...
