Quantafuel hat eine neue Vereinbarung geschlossen Quantafuel hat mit Corepla und Saipem eine Vereinbarung getroffen, um gemeinsam Modelle für die Kreislaufwirtschaft für Kunststoffabfälle und den Bau chemischer Recyclinganlagen in Italien zu fördern, heißt es in einer Börsenmitteilung.

Quantafuel has entered into an agreement with Corepla and SAIPEM to jointly promote circular economy models for plastic waste, and to seek building chemical recycling plants throughout Italy. - As for all European countries, plastic waste is a major challenge in Italy. Our consortium annually collects 1.5 million tons of plastic packaging. With Quantafuel and SAIPEM, we will create a full circular economy for plastic waste, says Giorgio Quagliuolo, President of Corepla. - We are taking another big step forward in growing our international presence and rolling out large-scale capacity plants based on Quantafuel’s technology. We are pleased to be working with such strong partners for a large and important market like Italy, says Kjetil Bøhn, CEO of Quantafuel. - The cooperation with industry leaders in their field of operation is for us an important step to implement sustainable solutions that can contribute to address global environmental issues, such as waste plastic recycling, in a circular economy framework, says Antonio Bassi, Petrochemicals Product Manager in Saipem’s consulting and engineering division XSIGHT. Corepla is an Italian national consortium for the collection, recovery and recycling of plastic packaging waste, while SAIPEM is a leading company in engineering, drilling and construction of major projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors, a global solution provider present in over 60 countries worldwide and 31,000 employees of 130 different nationalities.
