War auch nur so ein bauchgefühl,80 % Abschlag von 1500 auf 300 ( vor dem Split) schien mir für ein im Prinzip ja erfolgreiches ecommerce Unternehmen völlig übertrieben. Das ecommerce die Zukunft sein wird war bzw ist ja offensichtlich., auch ohne corona.

Glückwunsch. Nicht getraut. Aber eigentlich nur Gier, dass es noch mehr fällt. Man wollte 2022 den totalen Ausverkauf. Aber Aktie war unter ihrem Vor-Corona Niveau. Unbegreiflich. Gut, man muss sie natürlich auch 2 Jahre halten bis heute. War ja immer hard landing Gerede. Nochmal Glückwunsch, wer das gemacht hat. Ich habe zu sehr den Rezessions-Vorhersagen geglaubt.

Trotzdem schon erstaunlich, überall die Stimmung schlecht, auch großen Teilen bei den Amerikaner, trotzdem ballern viele Unternehmen in den letzten zwei Jahren ihre Zahlen hoch. Wie? Und gilt jetzt, Zinsen hoch, Aktien Bullenmarkt? Macht nix mehr Sinn.

Einfach nur zum Heulen, wenn man die ganzen Herbst 2022 Tiefs sieht. Warum hat man da nicht gekauft? Fürchte, dass 2022 erstmal lange die letzte Chance war, solch einen Dipp im Gesamtmarkt zu bekommen. Wenn nach Corona und nach Inflation/Zinsschock Aktienmarkt so zurückspringt, da glaubt doch keiner mehr an einen langen Bärenmarkt.

Bin mit dem Quartal sehr zufrieden ... Schon am vorherigen Quartal hat man gesehen dass die Umsetzung Früchte getragen hat ...

Shopify executives on Tuesday highlighted the company's key gains in areas ranging from health and beauty to home and garden industries, as well as smaller industries such as toys and games. Its revenue topped its earlier forecast, primarily due to stronger-than-expected sales in the U.S. and Canada. Shopify President Harley Finkelstein noted that the company continues to grow its share of the online-shopping marketplace, and more customers are using its Shop Pay service to pay for purchases. It also passed a milestone, eclipsing $1 trillion in total transactions processed ever. "In my 15 years of Shopify, I firmly believe this is the strongest and the most durable version of the company to date," he said. In the fourth quarter, Shopify posted net income of $1.29 billion, or 99 cents a share, compared with $657 million, or 51 cents a share, in the same quarter a year earlier. Adjusted earnings were 44 cents a share. Analysts polled by FactSet expected 35 cents a share. Revenue rose 31% to $2.81 billion. Analysts expected a rise to $2.72 billion. Total operating expenses rose almost 15% to $887 million, making up around 31.5% of revenue. Looking ahead to the first quarter, operating expenses are expected to be about 41% to 42% of revenue, in line with expectations. Costs in the first quarter usually account for a larger percentage of revenue since the period is typically at its slowest following the busy holiday period, Shopify said. For revenue, Shopify forecasts a rise at a mid-20s percentage rate, with gross profit dollars anticipated increasing at a low-20s percentage rate. Analysts expect revenue to grow by 24.2%,

Shopify's profit doubled in the fourth quarter after revenue rose by nearly a third, boosted by strong sales during the holidays and deeper integration with more online merchants. The results reflect that Shopify's platform, which provides the backbone for online storefronts, is playing a critical, if unseen to consumers, role to a wider swath of ecommerce transactions. During the fourth quarter, gross merchandise value, a key metric that reflects the total value of orders placed via Shopify, rose 26%, its best rate since a spike during the pandemic. In recent months, brands including sneaker maker Reebok, music company Warner Music Group and soccer club FC Barcelona have launched storefronts on or expanded their business with Shopify. The Ottawa-based company expects to carry that momentum into the new year, though its growth forecast in the mid-20s percent range represents a slowdown from their busy fourth quarter.
