Aktuell (Juni 2025) gibt es keine offizielle Bestätigung, dass SoFi Technologies (SOFI) in den S&P 400 MidCap Index aufgenommen wurde. Allerdings erfüllt SoFi bereits viele der Kriterien für eine Aufnahme, insbesondere hinsichtlich Marktkapitalisierung und Liquidität. Die Marktkapitalisierung für eine Aufnahme in den S&P 400 MidCap liegt laut aktuellen Angaben zwischen etwa 7,4 und 20,5 Milliarden US-Dollar14. SoFi erfüllt diese Voraussetzung aktuell. Der letzte noch offene Punkt ist die nachgewiesene Profitabilität (positive TTM-EPS), die für die Indexaufnahme erforderlich ist.
