The short-seller report didn't appear to cause the late filing notice, but the two items combined certainly look like a red flag for Supermicro, as the server maker is also known. Of the two issues, Hindenburg's accusations seem like the more concerning problem at the moment since the late filing only matters if there are indeed accounting inconsistencies discovered. Hindenburg's findings, if true, could be damaging over the long term, especially as Supermicro was previously fined by the SEC in 2020 for $17.5 million for insufficient "internal accounting controls."

Ja, nur hätte es das eine (spätere Einreichung) ohne das andere (Anschuldigungen von Hindenburg) gar nicht gegeben. Insofern ist es schon schwierig so zu tun, als handelt es sich um zwei voneinander unabhängige Vorgänge.

Kann man irgendwo sehen was da noch nachbörslich passiert ist?

Morgen könnte es bei uns aufwärts gehen. In den USA ist Feiertag und am Freitag stieg die Aktie nachbörslich unter hohen Umsätzen bereits stark an. Die Ängstlichen haben vermutlich größtenteils verkauft. Das könnte die Trendwende sein.
