WWR hat durch das Projekt die Chance das Interesse von deutschen Automobilherstellern in Bezug auf Elektromobilität zu wecken. Könnte aber ggf. Tesla darauf aufmerksam werden, da der neue Standort von Tesla in Deutschland nicht weit entfernt davon ist. Könnte aber auch einfach gar nichts dergleichen passieren😅

Und noch ein Argument für EMH was ich gerne einwerfen würde ist aus dem Papier der VW Batterie Strategie da steht unter anderen geschrieben, das man eben mit Gangfeng(größter Lithium produzent weltweit) einen 10 Jahresvertrag über die Lieferung von Lithium geschlossen hat, aber am Ende des Tages ist es ein chinesischer Rohstofflieferant. Lesenswert wenn man verstehen will warum Tesla direkt in die Beschaffung von Lithium investiert und in Zukunft seine Batterien auch selber bauen will und wie deshalb die Herausforderungen für die Volkswagen Gruppe und auch alle anderen Autobauer aussehen. Prices for lithium carbonate are sitting at around $11,250 per metric ton, almost a 70% increase from early January. It’s a significant turnaround from just a couple of years ago, where companies were investing in mines left and right. As a result, this created a glut of lithium which saw prices tumble. Now it seems like we’re having the opposite problem, as lithium supplies aren’t catching up with pent-up demand in countries like China, where EV adoption is skyrocketing. Analysts are now expecting that global lithium supplies will remain largely tapped out. Even if new mines are opened in the coming months and years, it will take years before they are fully operational, let alone regulatory clearances.
