September 29, 2022 - WonderFi Technologies Inc. (TSX: WNDR) (OTCQB: WONDF) (WKN: A3C166) (FTX: WNDR) (the "Company" or "WonderFi") subsidiary Bitbuy Technologies Inc. ("Bitbuy") today announced its partnership with AlpacaDB, Inc. ("Alpaca"), which will enable Bitbuy to offer its users fractional trading and investing in thousands of US stocks and exchange traded funds (ETFs), in an integrated experience within the existing Bitbuy platform. Bitbuy will utilize Alpaca's Broker API which will provide Bitbuy customers with real-time fractional trading and instant settlement. Bitbuy stock trading will be offered in conjunction with Alpaca and brokerage services through a leading Canadian investment bank and IIROC member. WonderFi's banking partner will route, execute, clear and custody all customer accounts and trades. Bitbuy stock trading is expected to go live in Q1 2023 and the official launch date will be announced prior to.

Bitbuy adding stock trading would allow it to compete with Canadian rival Wealthsimple, which offers crypto and equities for clients. Global giants such as Sam Bankman-Fried’s FTX are also beginning to offer equities for clients.

Due to fewer transactions, net revenue was $803 million, down 31% from Q1's total. Operating costs were $1.9 billion, up 8% from the first quarter. Impairment costs on non-cash items significantly negatively impacted net loss, which was $1.1 billion. The net loss would have been $647 million absent non-cash impairment costs. The adjusted EBITDA was $151 million in the red. Coinbase served 9.0 million MTUs in the second quarter, a reduction of 0.2 million or 2% from Q1 despite the ongoing market deterioration. Vlt gibt´s interne Vereinbarung erste den Namen zu nennen, wenn das Listing-Verfahren an der NASDAQ abgeschlossen ist. Wer weiß das schon, was da alles im Hintergrund läuft
