The Australian renewable energy company, which in January this year was acquired by China's State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), said today it has signed a contract with Goldwind. Under the deal, the Chinese wind turbine maker will deliver 32 machines of 2.5 MW each for Pacific Hydro's first wind farm in Chile. The USD-150-million (EUR-141m) project is called Punta Sierra and is located in Ovalle, in the region of Coquimbo. It will feed power into Chile's Interconnected Central System (SIC). Preliminary works are already underway at the wind farm site. The turbines are due to arrive at the port of Coquimbo in the middle of next year.

The company’s wholly-owned unit Goldwind USA Inc has entered into an exclusive letter of intent (LoI) with the buyer. As part of the deal, it is expected to deliver 2.5-MW and 3-MW permanent magnetic direct drive wind turbine generators (WTGs) between 2017 and 2022. It will also provide long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the wind complex.

das ist das risiko. heimatmarkt ist aber auch riesig. so gross dass 2015 sie weltweit nummer eins waren bei installierten onshore anlagen. plus es wird langsam angefangen sich auch ausserhalb von heimatmarkt zu engagieren. sicher risikobehafteter als vestas und nordex.

Die verdienen gut, sind streng genommen aber vieeeel zu abgängig.vom heimatmarkt.
