Zecotek Restructures to Align Intellectual Property, Technology and Business Functions Across Operating Divisions Vancouver, July 24, 2018 – Zecotek Photonics Inc. (“Zecotek” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: ZMS, Frankfurt: W1I, OTCPK: ZMSPF), a developer of leading-edge photonics technologies for healthcare, industrial and scientific markets, is pleased to announce an internal restructuring to better align its intellectual property, photonics technology and business functions across its three operating divisions: Zecotek Imaging Systems Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), Zecotek Optronics Systems Pte. Ltd., and Zecotek Autotronics Systems Pte. Ltd. (formerly known as Zecotek Display Systems Pte. Ltd.) All three operating companies are incorporated in Singapore. “Due to the considerable interest in our technology and investment potential in our operating divisions, it was necessary to better align our photonics technology, intellectual property and associated business functions across our three operating divisions,” said Dr. A.F. Zerrouk, Chairman, President, and CEO of Zecotek Photonics Inc. “We have recently completed two divisional equity financings in Zecotek Imaging Systems (Singapore) and Zecotek Imaging China, from the same strategic group, which puts us in a strong financial position moving forward. Our LFS Crystal Production Facility in Shanghai is coming online and has produced its first crystal boules. The company is building strength and gaining control of the production of its technologies.” All patents, with the exception those patents covering LFS scintillation crystals, have been transferred to Zecotek Optronics Systems. Patents pertaining to the LFS scintillation crystals will remain in Zecotek Imaging Systems (Singapore). Zecotek Display Systems has been renamed Zecotek Autotronics Systems to focus on developing components for autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicles and industrial machinery. Zecotek Optronics Systems has granted exclusive license rights to: Zecotek Autotronics Systems, for its patented 3D display technology, solid-state MAPD/T photo detector and transistor, and the recently announced wireless ASIC microchip, to be used in a 3D head-up display and in-automobile entertainment multi-view flat screen display, LIDAR photo-sensing, and for communication, data processing and navigation control, respectively; Zecotek Imaging System (Singapore) for the solid-state MAPD/T photo detector and transistor, and wireless ASIC microchip, for applications in positron emission tomography (PET) medical imaging and high energy physic imaging; Zecotek Imaging Systems (Singapore) for all intellectual property covering projects in joint development with the University of Washington including the NeuroPET/MRI. In return for the exclusive rights to intellectual property, Zecotek Optronics Systems will generate revenue through the collection of licensing fees from Zecotek Imaging Systems (Singapore) and Zecotek Autotronics Systems. Zecotek Imaging China, a subsidiary of Zecotek Imaging Systems (Singapore), is commercializing patented LFS scintillation crystals through its new crystal production facility in Shanghai, China. Zecotek Imaging China is poised to become a leader in large-scale production, cutting and polishing of scintillation crystals grown by the Czochralski method in China. Using a proprietary manufacturing process, very large-diameter boules with uniform properties and without cracks are produced resulting in high element output with lower unit costs. Zecotek’s patented (US patent No. 7,132,060) LFS scintillation crystals are known for their superiority in performance. Zecotek’s LFS crystals are known for their high light yields and ultra-fast decay times which allow for faster and higher-resolution operation of medical and industrial imaging devices including PET medical scanners.  The Company’s line of LFS crystals also cover a wide range of emission wavelengths which can be tailored to match the spectral sensitivity of various photo detectors including the Company’s own solid-state MAPD photo detector arrays.

The Company have executed a restructuring of its divisions to create two independent operating divisions Zecotek Imaging China Ltd. and Zecotek Autotronics Ltd.   The two entities will be each assigned a Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Technology Officer and a board of directors. Mr. Zelong He and Mr. Richard Chen have been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Zecotek Imaging Ltd. and Zecotek Autotronics Ltd. respectively. Both gentlemen are qualified in corporate finance and accounting with strong investor relations capabilities and experience in the public markets. They have played a central role in the recent divisional financings and have extensive knowledge in the Chinese, European and North American public markets.   “I am very confident that the new autonomous divisions and dedicated management teams will have greater focus and be more efficient at translating the large number of opportunities into revenues,” said Dr. A.F. A financing at the divisional level has been initiated due to the high valuation to further strengthen existing patents, expand the LFS Crystal manufacturing facilities, and to integrate organ specific PET/MRI modules for neurology and prostate imaging and treatment. ZIC will operate as a fully incorporated China based company, with a large customer base made up of primarily of organizations in China, Japan and Europe. Zecotek Autotronics Systems Ltd. (“ZAS"), is also initiating a financing round to complete its patented 3D display, specifically designed as an automobile console for telemetry and entertainment at the request of four world leading car manufacturers. The final 3D display product will have applications in the consumer electronics markets. The funds raised will also be used to integrate a LIDAR module for self-driven vehicles and machinery at the request of the same car producers. The Company also announces Mr. Michael Minder has resigned from the position of Chief Financial Officer to pursue other business interests and Mr. David Toyoda has resigned from the board of directors. “I would like to thank both Michael and David for their many years of dedication and unwavering support for the company,” said Dr. A.F. Zerrouk, Chairman, President, and CEO of Zecotek Photonics Inc. Mr. He comes with proven corporate finance and accounting qualifications and extensive knowledge of the Chinese markets, investment community and business regulations.    Zecotek’s strategic review was initiated to examine potential alternatives to create shareholder value including, but not limited to: a) a restructuring of the Company; b) the sale of assets held by the Company; c) the sale of a division of the Company; d) a strategic partnership with another company; and/or e) strategic equity investments at the divisional level.

Eine Aktie bei der es seit über zehn Jahren kontinuierlich bergab geht sieht man auch sehr selten. Respekt coole Firma! Es ist jetzt ein Punkt erreicht wo die Lichter komplett ausgehen. Kanada abzocke mehr war ( ist) das nicht!

Wenn Zecotek nicht bald eine überzeugende Nachricht bringt, ist hier das Ende aller Träume angebrochen !

Mit dem Schätzen ist das halt so ein Ding .. .. ich habe meinen alten rostigen VW Golf auch mal auf 80.000 € geschätzt. 800 € habe ich bekommen. .. abgesehen davon ... Zecotek ist völlig unterbewertet .. da bin ich mir 100%ig sicher! Auch wenn wir uns über den aktuellen Kurs ärgern, so bietet er die Chance viel Geld zu machen, sobald Zecotek wieder entdeckt wird. Dazu müssen vor allem gute Umsätze und Gewinne erwirtschaftet werden.
