Gold ounces sold for the quarter of 134,090 ounces were slightly above gold produced for the quarter as a result of the timing of shipments. At North Mara, gold production for the quarter of 85,920 ounces was 3% higher than Q2 2017 (83,110 ounces) mainly due to 4% higher head grades compared to Q2 2017, driven by higher grades from Gokona Underground. At Buzwagi, gold production of 37,415 ounces for Q2 2018 was 44% lower than in Q2 2017 (66,227 ounces) as a result of production now being derived solely from lower grade ore stockpiles due to the effective completion of the open pit. At Bulyanhulu, all gold production continued to be from the retreatment of tailings as a result of the move to reduced operations at the mine in late 2017. As a result, gold production for the quarter amounted to 10,443 ounces, 82% below Q2 2017’s overall production result (59,196 ounces), but 18% higher than production from tailings retreatment in Q2 2017 (8,856 ounces). The cash balance as at 30 June 2018 amounted to US$120 million and increased by US$13 million during the quarter, with net cash increasing to approximately US$63 million at period end. 434 million (TZS984 billion) of goods and services purchased from suppliers in Tanzania. Total contribution of US$712 million (TZS1.61 trillion) to the national economy. A recent independent report released by Ernst and Young (EY) demonstrates the significant contribution that Acacia’s three mines – North Mara, Bulyanhulu and Buzwagi – continue to make to Tanzania’s economy as well as the country’s broader social development. The report, entitled Acacia Mining plc Total Economic and Tax Contributions in Tanzania, 2017, concludes that during the year Acacia’s businesses purchased US$434 million (TZS984 billion) of goods and services from suppliers located in Tanzania. This represented 67% of our total spend on goods and services in 2017. Of this amount, approximately US$120 million (TZS271 billion) of goods and services were purchased from businesses in the direct locality of the three mines in the country’s Lake Zone.

Ich will hier niemanden zerlegen Haha :). Es wurde nur eine E-Mail bei acacia und bei Barrick rausgeschickt. Sie meinten , dass sie weiterhin in konstruktiven und guten Gesprächen sind. Leider haben sie keine deathline mehr gesetzt. :(( Aber trotzdem denke ich , dass es Geduld braucht am Ende wird es aber eine Einigung geben .

Vielleicht hab ich das falsch interpretiert (mein english ist nicht das beste). Aber deadline ist ja ende juni und haben auch keine Verlängerung angesagt also müsste dann ja der Entscheid kommen oder sehe ich das falsch ? Sonst können sich die manager ja keinen Millionen bonus ausschütten wenn die den angesagten termin sehr überschreiten... Aber hast .mich gut zerlegt mit deiner frage, Danke dafür.

Hast du dazu mal einen link ? Ich habe nämlich nur gelesen , dass sie weiterhin in Gesprächen sind.

Die wollen doch den vertrag mit der regierung heute bestätigen, bin mal bespannt ob da was gutes raus kam... Hab da ein schlechtes Gefühl, aber hab mich so oft getäuscht und der kurs kann ja nicht mehr viel weiter runter gehen. Hoffe auf ein kursfest der Erleichterung.

Ja bin auch am überlegen wieder rein zu gehen, ist ja eine gute aktie, aber zurzeit hab ich meinen put auf den techdax vergrössert und kein übriges geld mehr...

Wow hab mal wieder 40€ verdient und nur 2tage gehalten, aber die bank hat 70€ an transfer gebühren gemacht, ich glaub ich muss mal wechseln und eine andere Bank reich machen...

Denke auch das der Kurs massiv steigt wenn es eine Lösung gibt .. vermutlich wird diese Lösung teuer, so in der Art das man 30% der Gewinne in Tansania abführt an de Staat.. aber besser als keine Lösung ist das alle mal

Ich habe gestern eine E-Mail zu acacia gesendet und mal nachgefragt. Sie können aktuell nicht viel sagen da Barrick komplett mit der Regierung verhandelt. Angepeilt war eine Lösung bis Ende Juni laut acacia. Er geht aber eher von Mitte Juli aus

Na ja bei einer Steuernachzahlung von glaub190 Milliarden was tanzania einfordert, wo sie jetzt erst 300milionen bezahlt haben und die firma nur noch 550milionen wert ist, dass verunsichert die leute schon und dann noch der anhaltene abwärtstrend... sieht für mich aus als ob da manipuliert wird und wette das die bald wieder 200-300 % mehr wert sind aber vielleicht vorher noch unter die wichtige mentale marke von 1€. Barrick diskutiert schon so lange mit dem staat ohne ergebniss, das kann meiner meinung nach nicht sein ausser die wollen einen recht komplexen deal machen...

Wundert mich das es so runter geht .. die machen doch gute Gewinne ..da ist ja ein Arbeiter in der nord Mara Mine umgekommen, was evtl für die Tansania Verhandlungen negativ ist
