Die Aktie von Altech Chemicals (0,13 AUD | 0,08 Euro; AU000000ATC9) ist derzeit vom Handel in Australien ausgesetzt. Und das hat seinen Grund. Das Unternehmen gab bekannt, dass man im Rahmen einer Kapitalerhöhung bis zu 18 Mio. AUD einsammeln möchte. Dazu werden rund 166 Mio. neue Aktien ausgegeben. Zwei Drittel des zu platzierenden Volumens haben sich bereits Institutionelle Investoren gesichert, wie Altech bekannt gab. So werden sich die Deutsche Balaton AG (Volumen: 5,425 Mio. Dollar), die Delphi Unternehmensberatung AG (5,425 Mio. Dollar) und der bestehende Anteilseigner MAA Group Berhad (2 Mio. Dollar) an der Kapitalmaßnahme beteiligen. Damit gewinnt Altech zwei neue strategische Investoren für den Bau seiner HPA-Fabrik in Malaysia. Vor der Kapitalmaßnahme war bereits der Investment-Arm der SMS Group aus Düsseldorf, die auch die Fabrik baut, mit einem Anteil von 6,8 Prozent der zweitgrößte Einzelaktionär des Unternehmens. Diese Kapitalmaßnahme ist neben einem Kredit der Förderbank KfW IPEX (170 Mio. US-Dollar) und einer Mezzanine-Finanzierung mit der Macquarie Bank (90 Mio. US-Dollar) der dritte Baustein zur Finanzierung der Fabrik. Schaut euch am besten die Berechnungen und Ausführungen zu dem Geschäftsmodell auf der homepage von Altech an. Da kann sich jeder seine eigene Meinung bilden. Ich habe noch keinen Pennystock gefunden, wo die Geschäftsführung so sauber kommuniziert wie hier. Als Kleinaktionär können wir die Geschäftsmodelle nur sehr indirekt prüfen. Aber die KfW hat das im Detail gemacht, bevor sie den Kredit für die Anlage genehmigt hat. Mir scheint das Restrisiko vertretbar. Ist halt noch etwas Geduld angesagt.

Das mit den Seperatoren für die Akkus ist so, auch bei e-cars. Die Prognosen für den Bedarf an HPA zeigen einen stark steigenden Bedarf. Was da auf uns zukommt, haben die meisten noch nicht auf dem Schirm weil die Dinger im Moment noch recht teuer sind. Wenn sich aber erst mal die chinesischen Hersteller auf den europäischen Markt wagen...

Das fertige Produkt wird dann auch als dünne Beschichtung auf Akkus aufgetragen und somit sollen brennende Handys und Co reduziert werden. Ob das alles so stimmt was die sagen kann ich nicht beurteilen. Bleibt auf jedenfalls eine interessante Aktie.

Heute mit dem Arbeitskollegen geredet , nächsten Monat sollen beim Dispersionstechnologien Zentrum, finden nochmals kleine Test statt. Die Test finden nicht in der Firma statt wo ich bin. Der Kollege Will demnächst die Firma kontaktieren wie es weitergeht.

Leider gab es immer noch keine Auftragsbestätigung bei uns. Sollte demnächst passieren da die 2021 Produkt liefern sollen zu mitsubishi. Lieferzeit bei uns fast ein Jahr.

Highlights • Development Order for Malaysian HPA plant approved • Site establishment and mobilisation has commenced in Johor • Stage 1 construction works to follow site establishment Altech Chemicals Limited (Altech/the Company) (ASX: ATC) (FRA: A3Y) is pleased to announce that the Development Order for the Company’s high purity alumina (HPA) plant in Johor, Malaysia has been approved and that site establishment works have commenced. Establishment activities that are underway, or will commence shortly, include: hoarding of the entire site; the establishment of a site office, guard house and security; construction of access ways into and within the site; mobilisation of construction plant and equipment; and project signage. Safety inductions have been completed for all sub-contractors involved in site establishment activities. The commencement of works follows the initial approval of a site establishment works permit from local authorities in Johor that was valid from 1 January 2019. The stage 1 construction work activities will follow the completion of site establishment work. The proposed works include bulk earthworks; maintenance workshop foundation piling; the construction of retaining walls; on- site water detention tanks (OSD tanks); construction of the site sub-station structure and a maintenance workshop. The maintenance workshop will be used as covered storage during stage 2 of the HPA plant construction. The majority of stage 1 works have been funded and pre-paid to the EPC contractor which will be credited against the US$280 million lump-sum fixed-price HPA plant EPC contract.

While the interviewer appeared unprepared and quite clueless (we won't held the strong Austrian accent against thim - but babelfish might despair , it was good to hear at some stage not just Iggy but as well some other board member talking about the project and the company. Uwe Arendts (technical director) stresses the connections of the company to Germany (German engineering, German finance, thorough German process review), but sure - he would do that in a German tradeshow, wouldn't he? He explains the benefits of their product (4N HPA) for the battery and the LED market (but nothing I haven't seen before in the companies English materials). He stresses that they use an established process and that all process steps (individually) have been already verified on an industrial basis. When asked when the company will start producing he said without hesitation: In 2 years from now. Maybe we should make a note in our diaries?
