The company is losing market share “in multiple areas that are critical to its profitability,” and its “many competitors” include not just Nvidia (NVDA) but smaller rivals and even previous allies like Microsoft (MSFT), Mims contends. Last quarter, Intel’s “perennial also-ran” AMD (AMD) actually eclipsed its revenue for chips that go into data centers, the columnist points out. In 2022, Intel’s data-center revenue was three times that of AMD, the Journal notes. AMD ist führend im Segment der KI-PC-Chips Daneben sieht Di Pizio einen weiteren Vorteil von AMD: Dessen Dominanz im Markt für KI-Chips in PCs. Laut dem Finanzblogger würden Rechenzentren zwar eine Schlüsselrolle beim Training von KI-Modellen und der Unterstützung von KI-Inferenzen spielen, jedoch würden die Chips in Smartphones und Computern mittlerweile so leistungsstark, dass einige KI-Workloads direkt auf den Geräten ausgeführt werden könnten. Fazit Da NVIDIA bereits so viele Marktanteile besitze, sei es wahrscheinlich, dass diese nur noch schrumpfen können. Im Gegensatz dazu stehe AMD erst am Anfang seines Einstiegs in dieses Segment, was bedeute, dass das beste Wachstumspotenzial noch bevorstehe. Sehr ekelhaft dieser Widerstand. Wenns nicht durchbricht, könnte noch ein brutaler Sell Off kommen, ich überlege einen Teil von der frischen Position zu verkaufen

es wir zeit für neue höhen, amd war lang genug auf dem abstellgleis, mit den nächsten zahlen im februar sollte das ganze einen trend annehmen.., & zwar richtung sonne
