Der "wassergekühlte Hochleistungscomputer" im Zusammenhang mit MB.OS klingt wenig fortschrittlich, eher Status Quo unzeitgemäß. CPU-Kühlung kostet viel Energie. Hohe Verlustleistung! Das muss doch nicht sein! Ein anderer Hersteller hat die Nase vorn, der mit "hochleistungsstark und verlustarm" werben kann.

Ausgehend von der Erwartungshaltung, dass Mercedes den Akida einsetzt, steht nichts davon im Artikel. Würde es überhaupt Sinn ergeben, wenn Mercedes explizit Brainchip, Akida oder SNN oder ähnliches erwähnen würde? Nein, denn Mercedes stellt ein Concept-Car vor und konzentriert sich auf die potentielle Kundschaft, die sich kaum für technische Details interessiert. Andere Sicht: Würden wir in Schrauben investieren, dann wäre die Erwartungshaltung, dass in der Präsentation unbedingt auf die Schrauben hingewiesen werden sollte. Brainchip, Akida, SNN, etc. würde komplett ausgefiltert werden. Warten wir die nächsten Tage ab, denn es sind viele Hersteller und Lieferanten auf der Messe.

Here it is – our Concept CLA Class, celebrating its world premiere at IAA Mobility 2023 in Munich! This is a hugely important vehicle for us because it represents our vision to elevate and electrify a segment that, for many customers, is the gateway to our brand.    It’s based on our Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA) and runs on our proprietary operating system MB.OS, which includes a water-cooled supercomputer in every car. The Concept CLA Class represents an entirely new approach for Mercedes-Benz and incorporates many learnings from our groundbreaking VISION EQXX technology programme.     For instance, its incredibly efficient 800 V electric drivetrain gives it a range of more than 750 km based on impressive consumption of around 12 kWh/100 km (5.2 mi/kWh). Those are class-defining figures, which is why we are calling the Concept CLA Class a hypermiler that represents the “one-litre car” of the electric age. It charges up to 400km in only 15 minutes.    The Concept CLA Class offers a close-to-production insight into a new model family encompassing a 4-door coupé, a shooting brake and two stunning SUVs. Over the days and weeks ahead I look forward to providing you with a closer look at this watershed concept as well as the technology that underpins it.    We have lots more in store from the IAA from across the full **** of our portfolio.
