The US Commerce Department announced its final circumvention determinations with respect to the Solar antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) orders last Friday, August 18. This ruling was expected and is not anticipated to impact our ability to assist our customers in the U.S. Commerce found no evidence of Canadian Solar evading the AD/CVD orders or violating U.S. law. Instead, after over a decade of adhering to the "positive-negative" junction (p-n junction) as the determinant of the country of origin for AD/CVD purposes, Commerce altered its stance to emphasize the location of wafer formation (specifically, where a silicon ingot is sliced into wafers). For all of Canadian Solar’s modules destined for the U.S. market, the p-n junction of the solar cells were manufactured in Thailand. Those modules were not within the scope of the Solar I AD-CVD orders until Commerce’s circumvention findings changed the “rules of the road” to focus on the location of wafer production. So, what’s next? Canadian Solar will implement necessary adjustments to comply with the revised criteria for country-of-origin definition by either fulfilling the 4/6 rule for module components or setting up an wafer factory in Southeast Asia. Consequently, we will continue to support our clients in the U.S. market.

Du verwechselst was. Einmal geht es um das Polizilizium aus Xingjiang. Diese Lieferkettenprotokolle hatte als einziger CSIQ. JKS hatte damit in 2022 erhebliche Probleme. Das was du meinst, ist das Umschiffen der Zölle durch SEA. Da hast du recht, JKS wurde nicht bezichtigt, Zölle zu umgehen. Es gelten allerdings bei den Zöllen die 5/7 Regel.Bzw. 2 aus 7. Solange nur 2 Materialien der Panels aus China stammen, sind sie nicht mit Zellen belastet. Aufgrund der Meldung hat CSIq noch eine Wafer facility in Thailand gebaut. Nun erfüllen sie die Vorgaben

Die einzigen die das Einhalten ist JKS gewesen...da gab es 2023 sogar eine Meldung und CS war negativ aufgefallen...am vorletzten CC hat man das Thema herunter gespielt...ich sehe dieses Thema als noch nicht beendet...da muss eine klare Ansage erfolgen am Besten mit einer Meldung von der US-Heimatschutzbehörde...das alle Solarmodule ein legitimes Lieferkettenprotokoll aufweisen!

Jetzt bist wohl optimistisch? Ich sehe das differenziert...ob Canadian Solar das strenge Lieferkettengesetz der US-Amerikaner einhalten kann! CS glaubt ja daran...nur glauben ist was anderes wie Realität! Eine klare Aussage des CEO wäre da hilfreich...

Irgendwann wird auch hier der Kurs wieder nach oben gehen , man braucht halt Geduld.
