Ich bin nochmal Ännchens Hinweis nachgegangen, ob irgendwo im Studienprotokoll steht, dass bei hoher Effektivität die Studie auch schon nach 111 Fällen abgeschlossen werden könnte und habe folgende Passage gefunden: ‚‘‘ If the interim analysis is performed exactly after 56/111 cases have been reported, a 1-sided p-value lower than 0.00001/0.00126 (i.e. lower limit of the 2-sided 99.99%/99.99% CI > 30%) will lead to the conclusion of high efficacy, while a 1-sided p-value higher than 0.73596/0.15716 will result in the demonstration of futility. Otherwise, the final analysis will be performed at 185 cases. Similarly, if the number of evaluable subjects is equal in both groups, it means that the trial will conclude early high efficacy if 7/29 cases or less over 56/111 are coming from the CVnCoV group, while futility of the trial will be demonstrated if 26/41 cases or more are coming from the CVnCoV group.‚‘‘ dort wird übrigens von 185 anstelle 160 gesprochen (Status Protokoll November 2020). Guten Abend! Ich finde es nervig von Leuten zu lesen , die an der SEITENLINIE stehen und gute Ratschläge erteilen ! Der Wert dieser Informationen ist nahe null ! Und ich finde es bedauerlich das Leute wie Ruudi alles mehrfach einstellen und erklären müssen, nur weil der ein andere nicht willens ist oder aus anderen Gründen in der Lage sich damit intensiv zu befassen !

Ruudi- You entered the below- where do those figures come from. Are those figures in any official statement from curevac on SEC or Curevac website... Immediately afterwards an investor webinar apparently took place, where the numbers 59 cases / 31 sequenced were named.???? Where is document showing this ??

@M610 Nachtrag - Kurz am Noterbook noch recherchiert. Primary Completion Date: 16.04.2021, zu dem Zeitpunkt waren alle Probanden "fully recruited" und 2x geimpft. Gegenüber der Planung Dezember: 05.03.2021 also ca.+ 6 Wochen Verzögerung bei der Werbung der Studienprobanden. Infektionen werden ab 14 Tage nach Zweitimpfung gewertet, d.h. die zuletzt geworbenen Probanden wurden ab 01.05.2021 gezählt. Was fällt auf ? Unmittelbar danach fand offenbar ein Investorenwebinar statt, wo die Zahlen 59 cases/31 sequenced genannt wurden.

@Quasti / ich bin ganz deiner Meinung.

Wer aussteigen ist selber schuld.. Die aufgerufenen 160 können jederzeit erfüllt werden. Zugegeben: es ist eine verflixte Sache. Aber dafür kann bei Curevac Keiner was. Die halten sich bedeckt weil die fachlich besser informiert sind als so ein Jens Spahn. Der muss solche Aussagen treffen und politisch korrekt zu sein und seinen Stuhl zu retten. Warten wir nächste Woche mal ab. Ich bin froh und stolz bei Curevac zu sein. Das wird meine Aktien für die nächsten Jahre. Ist also eine andere Grundeinstellung als vielleicht viele andere haben..

The DSMB confirmed that there were no safety concerns for CVnCoV. As a standard procedure within a blinded trial, CureVac has no access to trial data. The trial will continue to collect sufficient data in order to conduct statistically significant efficacy analysis. The HERALD trial is conducted in an environment characterized by the spread of multiple virus strains. COVID-19 cases within the trial are currently being sequenced to provide critical complementary data to the efficacy readout. The HERALD study has enrolled approximately 40,000 participants in ten countries in Latin America and Europe. Of those participants, approximately 75% were enrolled in Latin America and 25% in Europe. The primary objective of the HERALD study is to demonstrate the efficacy of a two-dose administration of 12µg of CVnCoV in preventing COVID-19 infection of any severity in participants without prior exposure to SARS-CoV-2.
