Lots of speculation regarding EOS slinger being incorporated into M1E3 "next gen main battle tank" 30mm rws has featured on all prototypes from 2022-2025 but this week we will get a first look at one of the 4 units being delivered this year under an accelerated programme. Evidence to support EOS slinger being the 30mm RWS for this program is 1: They won the bushmaster user conference 2025. (Competitive shooting trail for us army). 2: small lead up contracts for AI enabled Slinger from the us in 2025. Januar 2026 bekannt, dass das Unternehmen für ein wichtiges Gremium der australischen Regierung ausgewählt wurde.  Hier sind die Details der Bekanntmachung: Projektdetails und Auswahl • Projekt LAND 156: DroneShield wurde als Anbieter für die „Line of Effort 3“ im Rahmen des Projekts LAND 156 des australischen Verteidigungsministeriums ausgewählt.  • Standing Offer Panel: Dabei handelt es sich um ein Rahmenabkommen (Standing Offer Panel) für Dienstleistungen im Bereich der Abwehr kleiner unbemannter Luftfahrzeugsysteme (C-sUAS).  • Kategorie 2 Anbieter: Als Anbieter der Kategorie 2 kann DroneShield Hardware, Software, Command-and-Control-Systeme (C2) sowie Support-Services im Rahmen eines „Capability as a Service“ (CaaS)-Modells bereitstellen.  Umfang und Bedeutung • Einsatzorte: Das Abkommen ebnet den Weg für die Bereitstellung von Drohnenabwehr an etwa 150 Stützpunkten und Anlagen der australischen Verteidigungskräfte sowie an weiteren Regierungsstandorten.  • Strategischer Wert: Die australische Regierung plant, in den nächsten 10 Jahren insgesamt 1,3 Milliarden US-Dollar für die Beschaffung von Drohnenabwehrkapazitäten auszugeben.  • Beschaffungsprozess: Die Auswahl für das Gremium garantiert zwar keine direkten Verträge, ermöglicht es dem Verteidigungsministerium jedoch, Dienstleistungen durch selektive und begrenzte Ausschreibungen effizienter zu beschaffen.  Finanzielle Aussichten Obwohl die genaue Höhe der erwarteten Umsätze derzeit noch nicht beziffert werden kann, geht DroneShield davon aus, dass diese angesichts der steigenden Nachfrage nach Drohnenabwehrlösungen wesentlich (material) sein werden.
