Russian companies signed contracts to export LEU & #uranium to the West back when uranium prices were lower. If Putin bans U exports, they can declare Force Majeure, meaning they void all contracts without legal penalty & sign new contracts with China at current uranium prices.

Darüber hinaus verlagert Energy Fuels den Schwerpunkt seiner White Mesa Mill, um die Uranproduktion für den Rest des Jahres 2024 hochzufahren. Dies umfasst die Verarbeitung von Uran aus auf Halde gelagerten Rohstoffen und Erz aus den Minen Pinyon Plain und La Sal, wobei eine Produktion von 150.000 bis 500.000 Pfund U₃O₈ erwartet wird. Der Seltene-Erden-Trennkreislauf des Unternehmens in derselben Mühle erzielte kürzlich ebenfalls höhere Produktionsergebnisse als erwartet.
