The company has announced that they are establishing their base in Adelanto, California - a high desert community NE of San Bernadino enroute to Las Vegas heading East and the Lake Tahoe region heading North. Adelanto is a lower income community that is very pro medical marijuana (MMJ) because they recognize the large tax revenue that will be derived from the industry. While also tightly regulating, they are expected to be strongly encouraging the Life Sciences (medical research) aspect of the industry and will be providing those companies that focus on this (like LDS) with as many tools as possible to grow their business within the state.
