China plans to impose sanctions on U.S. defense contractors Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC) and Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT) for selling weapons to Taiwan, China’s foreign ministry said on Friday. The country is enacting the sanctions in accordance with China's Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law, a ministry spokesperson said.
China has applied sanctions on U.S. companies over selling weapons to Taiwan on numerous occasions before, and it is not immediately clear how they work or what they are intended to achieve given that neither company sells to China.

Dort ist Lockheed mit 47 Prozent beteiligt. Die haben derzeit einen Order Backlog von ca. 2,6 Milliarden.

Hoffe sehr, in diesem Forum setzt niemand auf einen Krieg dieser Größenordnung. Sollte es dazu kommen werden unsere eingebrochenen Depots unsere geringsten Sorgen sein.

Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT) on Wednesday said it was picked to develop a nuclear-powered spacecraft that will be first demonstrated by 2027.
The aerospace and defense company won a contract from the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to develop the technology. Nuclear thermal propulsion has the potential to be several times more efficient than burning chemicals and might support a trip to Mars.
